Specially youngsters who always look for an opportunity like this to gain fame, rather than media. But with this, TikTok has its downs also. It has shown quite dangerous symptoms in some countries also, like a boy died or a girl found dead, etc.
Previously, it was announced that TikTok will be ban officially on 19 January, 2025 (Sunday).

Hearing of Supreme Court
The Supreme Court heard the arguments for 2.5 hours on Friday over whether TikTok can be banned in the United States in less than one week. In the end, the justices appeared ready to allow the U.S. government to force TikTok’s Chinese parent company to sell the company or go dark.
Last spring, President Joe Biden signed regulations into law that requires TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, to sell the popular social media platform or face a ban on national security grounds. The social media giant wants to delay enforcing the law, scheduled for Jan. 19. They say it violates the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment protection against government condensation of free speech.
If the ban gets effected on Sunday, Apple and Google would no longer be able to offer TikTok for downloads for new users. But yes, existing users could still access the app. The U.S. government and TikTok agree that the app would degrade and eventually become unusable over time because companies would not be able to offer support services.
Elon Musk going to buy TikTok?
Some news has been coming out that TikTok is going to be acquired by Elon Musk. But TikTok has strongly denied that Chinese officials are exploring a potential sale of app’s US operations to Billionaire Elon Musk. They have called the claims “pure fiction”. The denial came after Bloomberg News reported that Beijing Officials were considering Musk as a potential buyer for TikTok’s US business if the company fails to prevent an impending ban.
Where are Content Writers looking to?
Content Writers, after hearing this news were in a trouble of ‘what to do after this’. But many choices can be adopted by them if TikTok gets banned in the United States. Content creators can use other platforms to create and share content. Some options include:
Instagram Reels: A popular alternative for creators who want to continue capture their audience.
YouTube Shorts: Another option for creators who want to continue creating short-form content.
Facebook: Another platform that creators can use to continue engaging their audience
Triller: A platform that may be a good alternative for creators who are interested in music and dance
Virtual private network (VPN): A tool that may allow users to access TikTok if it is banned
